San Marco Imaging quality assurance

Since 1984, San Marco Imaging has been working on a Total Quality approach, following four main directions:

People & Communication: a special compensation to all employees is connected to very challenging quality targets, based on product reliability and performances measured in field. Training classes on quality are held to have the maximum involvement of all SMI personnel. Specific meetings are organised regularly among all the different company functions in order to discuss and monitor quality issues reported from the field.
Suppliers: each SMI supplier, selected among the most reliable and professional in his technology, has to comply with a specific "Supply Certification Procedure" including process approval and out-going inspection at his site.
Control Equipment: SMI invests in advanced and sophisticated control equipment and instruments for the entire work cycle (in-coming inspection, on-line controls, functional and final tests) to assure top quality level and reliability of each unit.
Hot-Line: a direct communication link assures constant daily support, technical advice and effective feedback between SMI and all Distributors all over the world.

All SMI products comply with International Safety Standards such as UL (Underwriters' Laboratories) for U.S.A. and CE for Europe.
